This piece reflects ways women hide or mask imperfections to be more beautiful. Makeup, for instance, are sometimes used to some extend that it becomes a beautiful mask, that can, sometimes, make a person unrecognizable. The flowers are taking on that role, hiding the face of a woman, so the viewer never knows if she’s beautiful or not, but only notices the beauty of the flowers.
